Purpose Statement

The purpose of the School of Health Professions, Education, and Social Sciences is to provide quality Christian education that challenges each student to set higher expectations for their intellectual and professional growth and to help each student expand their understanding of society and human behavior. Its primary objective is to educate health professionals in nursing, allied health, exercise science, nutrition, and dietetics. The school aims to facilitate learning focused on a Christ-centered, service-oriented curriculum that promotes excellence in character development, achieves professional goals, and adheres to professional standards.
