In every community there are rules and regulations. It is the responsibility of every student to read the Student Handbook available online at www.oakwood.edu. It is highly recommended that you do so prior to becoming a registered student. Familiarity with and acceptance of the requirements set forth in the Handbook will make life at Oakwood University easy to navigate. A student’s standing in a Christian school is not solely based on his/her scholastic attainment but also upon his/her general conduct and attitude toward the community in which he/she lives. It is imperative that students of the university community adhere to all University policies and procedures. Any student who violates the rules of the university may be asked to withdraw (see sections Student Citizenship, below, and Withdrawal from the University due to Disciplinary Actions, in the Student Handbook).
