This course, conducted in Spanish, is a survey of Castilian literature from its origin in the Middle Age up to the present. The course analyzes texts of several genres paying attention not just to the literary techniques employed by their authors corresponding with the literary fashions of their time also explore the some of the historical, religious, philosophical, and political backgrounds that contributed to their creation.
