PE 401: Physiology of Exercise

This course provides an overview of exercise physiology theory and principles. Focus is on the fundamental concepts of exercise physiology and its effects and responses on the body to the stressor of exercise. A major emphasis is placed on the comprehension of the differences between acute exercise response and the changes that occur with chronic physical activity. Offered alternate years.

BI 111, BI 112, and junior standing.
