Office of Spiritual Life and Missions

Oakwood University is committed to the spiritual nurture and character development of each student with the goal of preparing servant leaders. In collaboration with the Oakwood University Church, the United Student Movement, and residence halls, OSLM provides numerous opportunities for spiritual growth, including:

  • Weekly chapel services
  • Sabbath church services 
  • Adventist Youth Ministries (AYM)
  • Residence hall worships
  • Student missionary programs
  • Small group ministries
  • Club and outreach activities

Students may also participate in the Student Training Entrepreneur Program (STEP), which supports tuition through scholarship acquisition and gospel literature distribution.

Spiritual counseling is available in a sensitive and confidential setting.
