NU 490: Research and Independent Study (elective)

This course is designed to provide opportunities for students to be actively engaged in faculty research projects. The focus of the projects will center on Health Promotion and disease prevention. Priority will be given to research protocols aiming to reduce disparities in underserved populations. As the unique mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church includes promoting health of individuals, families groups and communities, one or more of the Biblical principles of health will be integrated into the research project.
