This course addresses leadership as an essential aspect of the role of the professional registered nurse. Reflection on important concepts for the nurse manager is the focus. Concepts, included but not limited to, are self-care, emotional intelligence, leadership, vision, delegation, safety and legal variables, innovation, quality improvement, emergency preparedness, and case management.
