Advanced practice with family systems, with emphasis on systems-analytical perspective, includes environing systems and internal dynamics of the family system, and differential use of the major theoretical approaches in family therapy. Emphasis is on a social work framework and on such traditional family social work techniques as advocacy, brokerage, and provision of concrete services.
