Advising

Academic Advising assists students in the development of meaningful educational plans consistent with their life goals. The major components of this program include assigned advisors for each academic department, specialized advisors from the Center for Student Success for students at-risk of failure or not graduating. The CSS Advisors and academic department advisors collaborate with campus and community-based resources for mental health, disability accommodations, and/or other supports.

Students in their second semester upon entering the university, unless on academic probation, are advised by our academic department advisors (i.e., faculty).
