This course is the study of physiological changes that occur as a result of disease processes and functions of the body. Alterations, the mechanisms involved, and their manifestations as signs, symptoms, and physical and laboratory findings are examined to provide the common bond linking microbiology, chemistry, anatomy, and biochemistry to clinical practice.
