Oakwood University offers three mini-mesters during the summer break and one during the winter break. Courses are available to Oakwood University students and other students whose primary residence is in Alabama. Each mini-mester is six weeks long. The online program offers students the flexibility to complete courses from any location, the opportunity to lighten their load during the traditional school year, and the option of completing degree requirements sooner. No textbook purchase is required for many courses. Oakwood Online University holds membership in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).
