This course is a study of critical factors affecting the conduct of international relations. Emphasis is placed on nation-states, global and regional international organizations, multinational corporations, individuals in the international arena, and the forces they bring to bear on the international political system. 

IR 470: International Development and Humanitarian Assistance

This course, based on the Nation Builders’ applied learning model, equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to address global challenges in international development and humanitarian assistance. Through real-world case studies, human-centered design, and project management, students collaborate with public, private, and nonprofit partners to develop sustainable solutions to complex global issues. Emphasizing practical application, students gain experience working on projects that promote economic development, social justice, and disaster relief efforts in diverse international contexts.
