Students who are incarcerated are limited in the amount of federal student aid funds they can receive. Students incarcerated in federal or state institutions are not eligible for Federal Pell Grant or federal student loans. Students incarcerated in institutions other than federal or state institutions may be eligible for limited federal student aid. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for the most recent information on federal guidelines. Any student receiving federal financial aid who is incarcerated during a period of enrollment must notify the Office of Financial Aid.
