HN 200: Team Project Phase 1

This course, conducted during the fall semester, is dedicated to the interdisciplinary solution of a real-world problem. Students will work in teams, outside the traditional classroom setting with the guidance of a faculty advisor. They will give multiple presentations to the advisor in preparation for their final presentation. To align with the values of Oakwood University as an HBCU and a Seventh-day Adventist institution, problem categories will include public health issues, humanitarian concerns, environmental challenges, social justice and educational disparities.
Prerequisites
HN 100. Must receive a passing grade in prerequisite course.
