This course is designed to familiarize students with the fundamental principles of the laws of business, so they act ethically, intelligently and understand their rights, duties, and inabilities in ordinary business transactions. Contracts, bailment, sales, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, and agency and employment relationships are covered along with potential legal and ethical dilemmas. Emphasis is given to the Uniform Commercial Code.
