Principles of Pathology is designed to give students a comprehensive overview of general pathology, with attention given to the inflammatory process or the host response to injury, at the cellular and system levels. In this course students become familiar with the language of general pathology and proficient in their knowledge and discussion of the various processes, especially as they relate to the cardinal signs of inflammation. Students will be able to discuss in depth the regulation of the inflammatory processes, and their impact on health and disease.
