This class offers the fundamentals of using the camera as an instrument of creative expression. The course is a hands-on experience in camera handling, black-and-white negative and print developing, contact printing, and enlargements. Special emphasis is placed on materials, lighting, exposure, and photography as a means of creative aesthetic self-expression. Students must have a 35mm camera. Rentals are available.
